In the winter months we have a range of talks about river related topics.

It's a great opportunity to meet people and learn something about the area, its history and the remarkable natural attractions it has to offer.

Talks are free to members or £3 to non-members.

Individual membership - £10 Family membership - £15 Concessions - £3

Membership includes a regular newsletter and a free bottle of wine when you dine at Pissarro’s restaurant.

Tuesday January 24th, 7.30pm  a talk by Gold Medal Olympic Champion Rowley Douglas MBE on his training for the 2000 and 2012 Olympics, plus his involvement with the Gold Challenge.

Tuesday February 28th, 7.30pm a talk by Andrew Paszkowski on The Dunkirk Little Ships and their connection to Chiswick.

Saturday March 3rd, 11am  Women’s Eights Head of the River Race Mortlake to Putney

Saturday March 17th, 11am Head of the River Race; Mortlake to Putney.

Sunday March 18th, embark 2.30pm, Mothering Day Cruise.

 Sunday March 18th, 12 noon Vesta Veterans Eights Head of the River Race;  Mortlake to Putney.

 Tuesday March 20th, 2pm, School’s Head of the River Race; Mortlake to Putney.

 Tuesday March 27th, 7.30pm a talk by Wayne Bellamy about the Queen's Flotilla.

Saturday April 7th, 2.15pm, The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, The Chiswick Pier Trust will open the hall and Fullers bar at noon. All welcome.

Sunday April 8th 9.30am Free canoeing at Chiswick Pier, also watch out for  Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race Teddington Lock to Westminster all day.

Monday April 9th  Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race Teddington Lock to Westminster Saturday, April 28th, 9.30am a morning Bird Walk with Keith Martin. Limited to 25 people, so booking essential.

Friday 22nd June Jazz Cruise  aboard the newly refurbished Queen Elizabeth. We will be cruising to Westminster and back leaving Chiswick Pier at 7 pm and returning by around 10pm.

Saturday July 14th, 11am Great River Swim.

 Sunday August 19th, noon the CPT throws their Party on the Pier. Free boat rides, stalls, bouncy castle, bbq, Fullers Bar. All welcome.

Saturday September 15th, leaving Docklands at 10.30am, and passing Chiswick Pier  early afternoon, Great River Race.

Saturday November 10th, Firework Cruise.
