Would you like to know more about identifying birds and, in particular, the river wildlife around Chiswick Pier?
On Saturday April 28th from 9.30am Keith Martin will show us how we can get to know birds through a variety of ways such as recognising how they move and sound.
Many of us stroll along the river without always knowing what we are looking at. By the end of this walk you will start thinking like a birdwatcher.
The walk includes the Leg O’Mutton Reservoir opposite the Pier and all are welcome, but you must be able to walk for up to 3 hours.
The event will go ahead whatever – as the Scandinavians say, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing. If you have binoculars, please bring them.
Group size is limited to 25, so booking is essential. You can get tickets from the Pier House or by applying in writing enclosing a cheque made out to Chiswick Pier Trust.
The event is free to members of the Chiswick Pier Trust or £3 for non-members.
If you then find you can no longer attend the walk, please return your tickets or let us know so we can let others enjoy the walk.
